I just use wbfs to be safe. It is taking forever because I set partition mgr to delete both partitions, erase all data for both partitions and reformat to fat32 as one drive.(will format to wbfs with wbfs manager next) I just want to be sure I am starting like when the HDD came out of the box. In response to Dogboy's recommendation of a new HDD. I appreciate the thought but I do have a new one, well 2 weeks old. I just used it to get my wifes 1200 some odd pics off of a locked up pc. Just trying to get my full 500GB back to wbfs(clean) in one piece
It probably doesn't help to format a partition on ur PC just for storing ISO's because NTFS can still hold the data and it is more stable... but yeah if you want you can just delete every partition and open wbfs manager... it will create the wbfs partition in about 10 secs... I don't think formatting to FAT32 will be beneficial(I may be wrong through cuz come to think of it the drive will be 1 uniform partition) but you never know!

@floorguy-just wanted to make sure you knew that there is a version of WBFS Manager for 64-bit PCs. I have it linked in the USB HDD guide if you need it: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...s-usb-hdd.html.
