How do I tell if I Installed Bootmii as boot2 or if it was installed as an IOS?

How do I tell if I Installed Bootmii as boot2 or if it was installed as an IOS?

I have 3.4u firmware, 1.0.3 Homebrew Channel, and IOS36v12.18 when pressining the home button within Homebrew channel.

Can anyone tell me if its safe to upgrade via wii sports plus or if I can follow DogEggs steps in 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii on this one to allow me to play burnt games and add usb.

Any help is greatly appreciated!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

Um, how about because the Hackmii installer will tell you which your Wii is capable of --- it'll either say IOS only, boot2, or both. I take it you didn't pay attention to what the mod says and the screen showed. Also, please realize Wii Sports Resort will take more than the hack itself to get running --- see this thread after successful tutorial/mod competion.

No I have installed backup launcher and homebrew channel with a few apps in homebrew channel. I used another setup a long time ago from Lifehacker and was unable to play any of my backup games so I let it sit for awhile and then I found this site and thought I would ask for help.

Also upon making your a wii a virgin could i run wii sports plus or not?

Well being YOU don't know, can ya suggest how anyone else would know with such limited info? We couldn't tell you... if your blue DVD led flashes twice on a boot real quickly together, you have a boot2 install.

Also, it is inadvisable to mix and match tutorials/mods as you propose -- stick to the one you started with...

I suppose if your Wii is 4.1 or older and not a new unit; there are specific warnings in that thread, mind them...

If You Use The Hackmii Installer Again.
It Will Tell You If You Can Install it as an Ios Or As Boot2
If It Has An Uninstall Option For Anything

    You Have It Installed

Also Just Starting The HacKmii Installer Will Give You An Installer Log Witch Will Be In The Root OF Your SD After Running
Open It With WordPad So Its More Readable.

    If You Have IOS 254

    Found IOS 254: revision: 0x7a6a*

    0x7a6a = 31338

Your Revision Might Not Be The Same As This
(To Get The Number Version From 0x7a6a Witch IS Hex You Need A
Hexidecimal To Decimal Converter Of Some Kind )
    or a Calculator

    So What Use's IOS254
    * BootMii as an IOS is installed to this slot.
    * PatchMii uses this as a temporary IOS
    * System Menu 3.4 included a copy of IOS9 as IOS254 to block PatchMii (and maybe to break some pirate tools), but Nintendo replaced the wrong IOS number,
since most pirate tools use IOS249.

This Can Be Handy To Find Out What Exactley Ive Installed ETC....

So If YOu Have Not Ran HackMii Since You Modded Your Wii,
    And Still Have The
    Installer.log On Your SD Card.
That Will Be Your System Pre Mod If You Started With A "Virgin Wii" That Is.
(Put It In A Safe Place It My Come In Handy One Day)
Run HackMii Again Just Start It
Dont Install Anything Just Exit And You Will Have an Installer.log Of Your Currunt System

If It Has An ASTERIX * Next To It Like

    Found IOS 254: revision: 0x7a6a*

Its Most Likley Been Modded Or HAs Got The ""Trunch Bug""

If It Has a FullStop .

    Found IOS 10: revision: 0x300.

It's Most Likley An Original unmodded IOS.
