    Unhappy Newbie here

Hi...I am new here and have been told through various people that I can download wii games for free. I don't have the slightest clue on how to do that. I tried to download a game, and then use IMGburner to copy it to disc, but would not work. I am also having trouble finding websites that have games. Can someone please help me????

thanks...I found some site called wiiiso.com. I tried to download a game, but it downloads and then when I try to burn it through imgburner, it does not show up on the list. Since its not an .iso file. I don't know how to convert it to .iso. When I extract it, it then shows up as a limewire file???

i'm a newbie also, but i think i might be able to at least shed a bit of light on your problem. first from what i have been able to see, you need to make certain you are using verbatim media and it must be dvd-r.

that said, unless you have already softmodded your box, you are doing nothing but creating expensive coasters at this point. if you looked through the sticky guides that are all over this forum, you will find all the information necessary to get you started. i think you will find that the easiest way to go isn't by burning copies, but to use an external HD and load your iso and ciso files to it via WBFS (also needed if you don't already have it).

i am currently at the stage of formatting my HD to use having spent last evening loading the s/w to soft mod and update to 4.1u. the guide to do that is very complete, easy to follow and complete. i suggest you do a bit more reading and it will make your life a bit easier if for no other reason that to clearify the direction you want to go.

What is the file extension of the file that you downloaded from wiiso.com if it is a torrent file then you will need to use winrar to extract all the pieces and it will convert it to an .iso for you.... if you need any help let me know been using torrents and nzb's for a long time now...

.torrent- You need a program to download the torrent such as utorrent, once all the files (.rar's) are downloaded you use Winrar to extract all the files to a specified folder this will give you the .iso file (unless they zipped them and then rared them)

.nzb you need either (newsleecher or newzbin) and (quick par and win rar) same thing download the .nzb file and the program should start once it is finished then use quick par to verify and repair the rar's and then win rar to extract the .iso

the reson they are showing up as a limewire file is that you lime wire is capable of downloading the torrents but most sites ban the use... so you maay have to change the associated file type to use utorrent for your torrents....

    Hope this helps...
