    system settings freezes

    hello

    i was about to change my wep key in the system settings when my wii froze up
    this is happening about 5 seconds after i click on system settings and about 5 out of 10 times i just get a black screen as its about to go in to settings and i need to power of the wii

    games still work but i dont know what has went wrong and when it went wrong as this is the 1st time in months ive tried do do anything in the settings

    any help would be superb thanx

    I have a similar issue. But with mine, I get an error that the System firmware is corrupted. I have just asked in another thread for help and hopefully someone knows how to fix this.

    If you have Priiloader or one of its variants installed, that's an easy fix. Or if you have HBC/wad manager access. You can install the right one on it by this method and clear that up.

    oh i forgot to mention that my system is 3.4e
