Are you trying to burn a game that is already on your computer, or trying to copy a real wii game to your computer?

It sounds like the latter, so; only certain dvd drives can copy games, and from what ive read, theyre rare. So yours probably cant. Maybe you can just download the game you want to backup instead.

if your copying a backup, your dvd drive is broken.

If your copying a retail game, then you need a very specific LG drive, or rip directly to your USB HDD via your wii.

no, only certain LG drives. You dont need to do it that way anymore, get a usb hdd, a usb loader and rip to usb with the wii. Its quick, and rips anything.
