    loading backup/neogamma Issues

    Hi Guys,

Ive been working on getting my wii hacked for about a week now, and really hoped i could get this done myself, but i can't find the answers for these issues.

The main issue is that i cannot get any backup disk to load. I followed the softmod tutorial on this site very closely, and I hope I didnt miss anything...

I go to neogamma, load from NTSB to my usb HDD or my USB stick, and when I load any game (right now im messing with zelda, i tried mario kart, price is right) the screen flashes green and then goes black with no error codes or anything. I have to unplug the wii to get it to restart. It does that with all of my backups, which is wierd.

I tried using USB Loader GX as well, with the same result, just no green flash.

Because Ive been messing with it for a week, I tried reinstalling everything from square 1 today. However I couldnt get a different outcome. I tried fudging with some of the neogamma settings, and all it did was crash the program and send me to the system menu.

Some basic facts about my setup: 4.1U system version, Neogamma r8 b7. priiloader installed, homebrew v 1.06... i dunno if theres anything im missing.

    Thanks in advance guys

    Joblo

I definitely did step5d as well. The only thing that I have done differently than the tutorial is updated homebrew after completing the tutorial. however I wouldnt think that would cause any issues. I have tried a usb stick drive (4GB vertbatim store and go) and also tried my new 2GB sandisk sd card.

is it possible that my iso is bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I will give it a shot. thanks for the reply

update - I am slightly embarrassed to say that it was my iso. I was trying to run wii sports resort and did not find the thread about handling that game, as of course it gives the black screen when you do not handle it specifically. Thanks for all that posted replies, and I hope you other guys get it worked out. Thanks.
