Question Any difference between 4.1 and 4.1U?

Hi, I've searched high and low on these forums (searching via version number gets no results) as well as the internet and i couldn't find a answer so I will ask the question.

Someone else accidentally upgraded my wii to 4.1U from 3.4U while playing New Super Mario Bros Wii, thankfully HBC works fine. But now I want to know what I can do with a 4.1U firmware.

I'm reading some threads and I see that people are talking about 4.1u and 4.1, that begs the question

Is there any difference between 4.1U and 4.1U

4.1 is a general speaking of Wii Firmware version. It's regionally specified as 4.1x, while x=J for japan, =U for NorthAmerican, =E for Europe, =K for Korean

the game NSMBro will update a Wii from 3.x to 4.1x, as shwon in ur case. No harm ! Just fun!
