Having problems with corrupted files HELP!

Hey, I have an already Soft Modded Wii 4.0. I have already burned wii backedup games and was always successful burning them and playing them with a laptop. THE PROBLEM is that now I don't have that lap top and have a different computer. I've downloaded games and when I unrar them they become corrupted (on every single game I downloaded) I still continued to burn it and the wii does not read them... Why are they becoming corrupted after I unrar? I never had this problem. Another thing is I tryed making copies of back up games I already have and when I try opening the files on the computer it says its either corrupted or wrong format so now I cant make copys... Can anyone help?????

What operating system are you running? Do you know which file system you are using? If its fat32, then that is your problem. You cant have files over 4 GB on fat32, on windows at least. If this is the case, you are getting the rar files which is <4 gigs, but the iso inside is <4gigs, so when you try to extract it you will get an error.

Windows is usually on a ntsf partition, which can handle >4 files. Are you maybe trying to do all this on a secondary partition, or hard drive? If so, move the rars to the c drive, and extract them, and they should work.

If none of that works, let us know what kind os and file systems you have. If its windows, go to my computer and on the left side of the window open the details tab, it will tell you the file system of each hard drive.

Maybe it has to do with the format? is there a way for it to recongnize ISO format files? thats the only thing im having trouble with cause every other rar file like movies and stuff extract and work perfectly its only the ones that contain ISO file.
