    Ca Afraid of 3.4u System

Hi Everyone...I am sorry if these questions have been asked before but I have been searching for a long time and do not feel comfortable lol

I installed Homebrew on my 3.1 wii and things were ok. Some games played some didn't. My sister bought wii fit and updated the machine to 3.4u and all the files have been erased from THBC. I tried to upgrade the system but nothing can be read off of the SD card in HBC. What is my next step to avoid trouble?

Again I am sorry if these are really bad questions. I have been trying for a long time to do this myself but I am getting to the end of my rope lol. Thanks

You said you had 3.1 installed, I take it then if you had a Wii on System Menu 3.1, you have Bootmii installed as boot2? (One of the options of the Hackmii installer when you installed the HBC)?
    4.1E - Priiloader 0.3b - bootmii as IOS - cIOS 38 r15 - Triiforce MRC v.7 - MPlayer CE v.0.76 - Configurable USB Loader v.48 - WiiFlow v1.1 - SanDisk 2GB SD - 320GB Vertabim HDD
Please remember to hit if I've been of any assistance to you.

I did..but when the Wii Fit started up it erased all the files. The wii still works and HBC is on option on the wii menu but I don't think it does anything but Start.

Test it? Upgrading to 3.4 isn't all that bad. Nintendo didn't start removing major softmod stuff until 4.2 and such. Try the HBC, see if it loads. If it does you should be able to run the Hackmii installer through their and reinstall bootmii as boot2 From there I'd also install Preloader/Priiloader and turn on the System Menu Hack: Skip Disc Update Check.

Nothing is coming up on the homebrew channel...just an empty blue screen. Is there a tutorial I can't find for this mistake?

Do you have anything inside the SD:\apps\ directory? If not, do the following:

    1 - Download this

2 - On your SD card, create the directory "SD:\apps\Hackmii\".

3 - Unzip the file you just downloaded, inside will be the file "boot.elf". Take this file, and move it into the folder you just created on your SD card. It should look like this:

    Code:
    SD:\apps\Hackmii\boot.elf
4 - Take the SD card and place it into your Wii then boot the HBC

5 - There should only be one icon there, click on it, and let it do it's thing. Then update the HBC and install DVDx and reinstall Bootmii as boot2.

6 - Once done, return to the HBC and turn your Wii off. Turn it back on and bootmii should start up : )

Now, if you do have something inside the SD:\apps\ directory, but the HBC is not seeing this, then you have some trouble, but still fixable. As you're on System Menu 3.4 (thanks to Wii Fit), you have several ways you can boot through to the hackmii installer. The infamous Twilight Hack, Indiana Pwns, Bannerbomb, Smash Stack. These all work : ) But first, test out the steps above, and good luck.
