The bootmii folder needs to be on your sd-card
    It should look like this
    sd:\bootmii

The bootmii folder should have 3 files inside.
    armboot.bin,bootmii.ini,ppcboot.elf

If these are on your card, and bootmii does not start, install bootmii as boot2. This is explained in step 1 of the 3.1-4.1 guide linked blew, the nand backup is explained in step 2. All needed files are also there
    Ipsa scientia potestas est.

I concur with Mauifrog as its the same as I have been saying throughout.

You need to concentrate on one single guide and nothing else. I suggest you follow DogEggs guide to 3.1 - 4.1 in full. Download the files from the guide and do not use any others. Guide can be found in my signature and also mauifrog's signature.

Ok. You are right. more files are in this rar pack and it works. so all I have to do now is prepare sd card then install bootmii as boot 2?

I did not realize that their are great guides like the ones on this site. Thanks again.

I have a question, I modded my buddy's Wii after doing three others. My friends was the first to be able to install bootmii as boot2, but I didn;t have my Gamecube controller with me so I couldn't do a nand back up. I finished all of the installation. Am I able to just go to homebrew channel and bootmii and make the nand back up later or will it write extra data since other data was installed?
