Question AVI Movies Via Flash drive / HHD on WII

    Hi All!

This has been a great experience modding my wii and playing around with the different things a Wii can actually do!

    HOWEVER

I would like to know if there is a guide as to show me how I can play an AVI movie on my WII?

Tried search and came up with nothing.

Please let me know if u have a solid answer.

    Regards JM

Update: After some research I have read that WII Video 9 is a good option to use.
    1) Where can this be sourced and how is it installed? (ie is it a WAD file ?)
    2) How do you go about playing the actual video?
    3) Can I use a portable HHD rather and a SD?

1.Put your avi's anywhere on your NTFS/FAT32 drive

    2.Get Mplayer: http://www.wiihacks.com/homebrew/200...r-ce-dvdx.html

(you can choose either the full install or get the .dol and get a forwarder)

    3.install/run mplayer

4.goto 'open', mount your USB, navigate to the avi and it should work fine

Will give it a bash, are you aware if this is compatable with a 4.2U Softmodded?
