Question How do I identify my cIOS version?

Hey, I'm new here, I've been reading some threads, so hello!

Tiger Woods 2010 and FF Crystal Bearers aren't working for me, and I thought it might be because I don't have cIOS rev 14 installed. When I try to install it I get an error -1, but it might be because I don't have the wad...

Here's the question: I don't remember which revision of cIOS I installed, so how do I check?

    Thanks!

If you have neogamma, open that up and it should say along the bottom which rev you are using

You can check all your IOS versions and their revision # at once by running Signcheck through HBC. Load it and press reset many times until it's done. You can view the csv it produces on your sd card with wordpad or similar on your computer.

Ah, it says rev14, so I have no idea why these new games aren't working. I burnt another game to this type of dvd and it worked, but tried 5 times with Tiger Woods 2010 and the disc channel won't read it.

Disk channel, you must have cioscorp installed, hard to tell what that will do to your wii.

Well, I have a wiikey in there, but also softmod (4.2U) so I can play new mario with the patch on it. For some reason those two games won't work for me. I started to think it was my discs were crappy, but older games that I burnt with them work fine...

Run through the Game IOS List to see if you need to update any.

Oh, alright, thanks! For Tiger Woods 2010 it says IOS55-64-v4633, and 3.4... but None of them say 4.2, so I'm guessing it would work for 4.2 also. What do I do with IOS55-64-v4633? Will installing it screw up some of my other games? Will I have to switch back and forth when I want to play certain games?

The sysmenus on that list are just the ones included with the update partition on the game. To update use the NUS Downloader tut link at the bottom of the post to download and install them. Updating newer revisions of IOS' is safe and provides backwards compatibility with all previous revisions of that IOS, just never uninstall an IOS below 200.

Ah, thanks for helping a total newb!!! I really hope installing the newest version of these ios will make the games work. If it doesn't, I don't know what else could be wrong.
