I use Wii BrickBlocker to remove the Update Partition of the ISO files, and WBFS Manager does the rest when they are added to the USB HDD.

Are you burning your Wii games?

When you downloaded wiiscrubber, there should of been more files and one file should be the key bin file or makekeybin application which creates the needed key bin file. Also you dont need that program if you want to scrub down your games to put on a HDD or sd card. Like the member said above, WBFS does that for you. And if you have preloader installed to block disc updates, wiibrickblocker wont be needed.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

I like to use wiiscrubber for making hard copies. I scrub them then compress them and burn them to disk. you would be surprised how many wii games on average you can get on a disk. This way if u ever scratch a disk or blow a hard drive you still have your games. I went years without blowing a hard disk and in the last month I had two die on me. One at 6 months and the other at 1 year old.

Yes, I see the other files you mentioned, I clicked on the "makekey.bin" and it said that I was successful, but when I open the application it says "unable to open key.bin." What's up with that? Any suggestions?

Well to answer your question. Here is what you need to do:

    1. Unzip WiiScrubber to whatever folder you like.
    2. Unzip MakeKeyBin to the same folder as WiiScrubber.
    3. Double click on MakeKeyBin.exe, once its loaded enter "42" then press the generate button. Click ok to the pop up telling you the keys were made then click the exit button.
    4. Run WiiScrubber, load your ISOs and scrub away
    5. After your ISO is scrubbed use winrar, etc... to compress the newly created ISO *Note: The scrubbed iso will be created in the same folder as the original ISO. It will appear as the same name but show (compressed) i.e. supermariokartwii.iso will be supermariokartwii(compressed).iso

Thats about it really if you need anything else like the actual programs lol pm me.

Um, Gaz WBFS Manager removes the extraneous update partition as well; you are doing too much work, me thinks
