    Wii Hacked: Help Moving Forward

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to visit this thread and consider providing help. With that said I will jump right into my issues.

System Identification. I had friends assist me in soft modding my Wii via a SD card this past Christmas and I they only had the time to do the process not so much explain it. The only thing I know is I need to use WBFS Manager to install back ups on my external HDD. How do I identify the relevant information about my hacked Wii in order to be better assisted? system menu version can be seen by Wii options, then settings, will say something like 4.1E
Playing Other Region Games. In my search for back ups, I seem to run across PAL versions a ton more than NTSC versions. Some Googling has indicated that attempting to play PAL games can brick my Wii while other search results say the opposite. What is the proper way to go about playing PAL or any region back up on a NTSC Wii? The back up loader version I use is: NeoGamma R7 (Revision 14) You can set neogamma to load PAL games, or use wiiscrubber to remove region.
Removing Updates. I've learned that some Wii games come with firmware updates already on them that if put into a hacked Wii, could brick it. How do I safely remove updates from a back up file that I may come across? Again neogamma has a setting to skip updates.

Playing ROMS from an external HDD. I already have NES, SNES, and Sega emulators on my Wii so that part is taken care of. However, I can not get my emulators to locate the ROMS on the connected external HDD. Is there any way I can get the emulators to recognize the external HDD or do they only look on an inserted SD card? Use Triiforce

Zip Files or X Format into ISO Format. Just torrented a back up that comes in like 30 different zip files. How in the world do I convert these all to a single ISO image to be utilized by the WBFS Manager? just click on the rar file, they will combine to one ISO.

CE Mplayer Bugs. This really seems to be hit or miss meaning to say, it's really, really, buggy. Is this just something that needs to be ironed out as time goes on or is there more to it than that? Myplayer CE0.75 should run .avi files OK

My Wii is already hacked and I already play back up copies from an 500GB external HDD (250 GB's partiones for games/250 GB's for movies). So the hardest part is already done I believe. The issues I've listed are the only remaining issues I have.

I also have no SD card reader. Get a reader
