Firstly you paid him for his time and effort to SoftMod your Wii. You could have done it yourself, but you asked someone else to do it. Unless he has "SOLD" you the software, you paid for labour.

If your Wii is modded, it should be fine. Most times people can't diagnose what errors you may have in the future, so continue as normal until you run into an error an then post that up instead.

As for the version of IOS, it should say which IOS it is using when it bots up USB Loader GX.

If you have a SD card in the front, it may have the version of USB Loader GX on it. Otherwise, I think you can get the version number of USB Loader GX from the settings menu of that software.

You asked how to check the versions of HBC and IOS.
I don't know if you have to update or not, you haven't said what you are on.
The latest cIOS you should use is cIOS38REV14.

You shouldn't need to update homebrew. Find out which ios your game needs then click the ios link in my signature

Ok here is the info i found om my wii
    Version 4.1E
Homebrew 1.3 asks if it should upgrade itself to version 1.6 ???? yes / no???? no need to
in homebrew it allso talks about an ios61 v19.26? what is that one? thats the one its installed under, and is Ok

when looking in usb loader gx it says that my boot standard is cIOS 249.
and the boot is done on sd card. After CIOS249 there should be the rev number ie 14
i have problem with black screen on 2 games starwars the force unleashed and a fifa football game cant remember if it is 2009 or 2010.

and finally i want to backup my wii fit plus on my hd.
Use USB loader GX converts your game disc to WBFS and stores on HDD

    what to do?

    what to do?
    my rev is 10

is there a guide to update ios 249 to rev 14 use the link in my sig for rev 14, copy directory to SD\apps, and copy the wad to Sd\root
and how do i install game ios wadinstaller??? how does that work. use wad manager 1.4, use NUS downloader for wads
    cant find for dummy guides
in settings under usb loader gx there is an upgrade function with upgrade dol or upgrade all is that what i shoul use?
No, upgrade dol is for useing the latest GX version, upgrade all includes game covers. nothing to do with cIOS, your gx should be above 700
