This still has a million problems, but at least a monkey can read most of it. Also, you may wish to post your trouble in a relevant thread, or start your own thread.

Hi i have wii 4.2 and with usb loader gx and wiiflow. Now i am new to this and i only know what my wii shows me. With that out the way it is a wii, 4.2u version, running wiiflow, usb loader, ios 249, w/cios 222 installer 3.0, and it says in a 3rd app on my homebrew channel, cios38r14 installer. Plus I have a ton of other apps, will list them if u find it necessary. My problem is when i open my homebrew channel it shows all my apps, and they'r selectable, but if i pull my sd card out on this screen, obviously the apps disappear. Point I'm proving is that it is reading the sd card fine at this point, but when i open any of the apps they then don't appear to recognize the sd card anymore. Like i can open my wiiflow app and it opens just fine, but i have a ton of themes and all the necessary covers on the sd card, but they don't show up. I'm pretty sure they'r in the right file folders, "image cover". There are two of these, one in wiiflow, and one on main list on sd card. Both have all the covers. Tried downloading, no luck there, but i did have all this working properly on my wii at 1 point. So i know it is probably something i messed up. It does not read any of the emulator roms either. Nor does it recognize the card in usb loader gx, and will not download on there either. It says insert sd card and i pull it out and put it back in, nothing. I clicked the little sd card tab on the wii to reload, nothing. I have been to data management loads up 1 channel, I cant launch. Please can anyone help, this is frustrating. Like I said, before it reads the sd card at the homebrew apps, that's it (its a 4gb Kingston sdhc). Any help would be extremely grateful thanks!! bdonovan6@neo.rr.com

Here's a question I need help with. I helped my brother in law mod his wii. He's on version 3.4. Installed bootmii as an ios because that was only option it gave. Using USB Loader GX from HDD as a forwarder and SD card left in wii. Everything worked great for 1 week. He downloaded reel fishing and installed it on his HDD with WBFS. After he started the wii back up nothing worked. It would show the initial menu but he could not start USB Loader, Could not start Homebrew, could not go to channel to create a mii. Basically nothing worked. If he loaded a store bought game in the drive, it showed that it was there but would not load. Again, Everything worked great until he tried to get his own game. All the other games I put on his HDD for him. Any possible solutions or what might have happened to cause this??? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

He must of done something else to the wii. Did you/he install priiloader? Hold reset and boot the wii to find out.

I appreciate your response. Apparently he had loose cable. I would of never guessed a loose cable could have those symptoms. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Thanks anyways, I feel like an idiot for even making that post knowing the answer was so simple.
