    bootmii

Hi, I asked in another thread why when i turn on my wii it goes to the bootmii screen and i have to press reset to get it to go the the wii menu.

I was told this is "normal if u have bootmii as boot2.
If u dont want it, just copy the bootmii files off ur SD card. that should stop that and when u need em just put em back on."

ok so, how do i take the bootmii files off my sd card. as in which one is it, and what does it mean "when you need them put them back on" when will i need them again?

    cheers.

put the sd card into your pc or card reader and open the drive with windows explorer. Find the bootmi folder, right click and select cut from the drop down menu. Then go to your desktop or anywhere on your pc you like and right click. Select paste from the drop down menu.

put the sd card back into the wii.

if the bootmi folder is on the sd card, bootmi will load. if it isn't it won't. I don't know what you are doing but apparently you are leaving the bootmi folder on the sd card and until you delete it you will keep having this problem.
