What's the best media center app?

What's the best media center application for using mp3's and movies through a wifi network? I remember a friend's modded xbox years ago had the functionality beautifullly incorporated, but I haven't clearly seen something that does it for the wii yet.

I've tried the apps on wiibrew: geexbox, mplayer ce, dragonplayer. But it seemed they were all designed to play local music off an SD or via USB. I want to stream from my computer.

There's another commercial program called Wii Media Center X that seems to install software computer-side. I'm sure there's gotta be a way to do it that doesn't require putting some software on my computer... right?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry if I'm asking an FAQ, but I can't find the answer to this even via search and extensive browsing.

Look again at Mplayer CE and it's SMB share features.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
