    Question Space or Portability?

    Hey all,
    Space or portability?
If your wondering what this is for, I'm getting a new external hard drive, to play burnt games on (ive got everthing ready) But I dont know whether to get a hard drive with more space, or one that is portable?

    More Space

    Portable

    Please help!

    Thanks,
    -Rilez-

in my opion go with More Space, cuz u can store more games for it.
Portable is useless unless ur traveling(i dought u will be traveling with ur wii lol). Its the same price So if u have place next to ur wii to fit it go with more space.

    get bolth

why not invest in a HDD that has bolth WD has a nice line of usb powered HDD, that are supported (the size of an index card and about .5" thick) pretty small, at 500gig it's allot of room, and powered via usb is nice no extra power adapters, I think it's the way to go it's both portable and spacious...

Anything over 500GB is too much and requires partitions on the HDD.

I have a 250GB portable 2.5" HDD from Transcend. I have 14 games on my HDD and only 10% of the HDD is being used. These are the newer games so are larger. Some games compress down alot so even 250GB is plenty of space.

Go for something more streamline, and USB powered instead of having yet another plug in the wall. 250GB is plenty of space, and 500GB is the max I would go for the Wii Console.

Look for something more practicle and save your money mate.

    EDIT
Make sure you Check Here to see if your HDD is compatible with the Wii. Not all HDDs are.

just an FYI 250gb will hold 80-100 games depending on their compressed size.
