    Wiiflow install?

Hi all, i've been reading on here for over a week now and finally had the guts to softmod my 4.1u Wii with Dogeggs tut (which is a great tut) and everything installed perfectly.

Now I am running into something I can't find an answer on. I want to install Wiiflow to play my games and I have a 1tb HDD that I verified works for backups. I guess really I have a couple of questions...

How do I install Wiiflow? I think I am supposed to cope everything to an SD and go through HBC to install the channel? Is that right?

Do I need to leave the SD in the Wii once it is installed?

Are there wads that need to be installed?

Sorry for the newb questions I just don't want to mess it up. If anyone could help or point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

First make sure you're downloading the latest revision, found here: Downloads - wiiflow - Project Hosting on Google Code

The version with 222 loads los 222 by default, 249 loads ios 249(this one is generally recommended).

Rename the file you download to boot.dol and copy to sd:/apps/wiiflow.

You'll need the sd card in the console to load any .dol file.

Wads only need to be installed if you want to run a forwarder channel from the main system menu, which points to the app on the sd card. One is listed on the Google Source page above, or you can download 4 others along with some themes from the old revision pack here: WiiFlow USB Loader - Downloads

I've just installed it and it's the nuts!!!

Make sure you re-name the wiiflow_249 or wiiflow_222 folder to just wiiflow otherwise the forwarder will just boot back to the wii menu. That was the only problem I had anyway installing on a SD card but it may be different if installing on your hdd.

Did you install the light or full version? The light only has 3 themes and the full has 28.

Anyway, click on settings whilst in wiiflow and on page 2 you should see "themes" click on that to browse and choose what you want.

Drop the .dol file into sd:/apps/wiiflow and make sure it's named boot.dol.

    Themes go in sd:/wiiflow/themes.

The forwarder channel wad goes into your wads folder and install via wad manager.

For information on setting up your usb hdd see the guide linked in my sig below.
