    memory problem (blocks problem)

I hope enyone can help me.

My WII has ben softmodded yesterday (4.2 firmware) and everything works just fine. I have a 2gb SD card in the WII.

but the only problem that I have is that the WII has low memory. I have only 23 blocks left!!! And I have only 4 save files on the WII

after copying the files to the SD card I am able to clear about 65 blocks total. but that means that I cannot play those games until I copy them back to the WII memory.

so I have two questions? what could cause the low memory? and the next question: is it possible to use the SD card as a save location for games?

thank you so much for your help !!!!

If you only have 4 save files on the wii and only 23 blocks left have you any VC installed on your Wii?

Any additional channels? Nintendo channel? Everybody Votes Channel? Wii Shop Channel, they all take up valuable space on the Wii but that shouldn't leave you with hardly any space at all.
    Homebrew Channel 1.0.6 | Internet Channel | Sys Menu 4.1e | NeoGamma R8 b15 | Preloader .30 r3 | cIOS38 r14 | Wad Manager 1.5 | cIOSCORP 3.5 | DVDX v2 | Mplayer CE | WiiGator GC Backup Launcher Ver 2.0 | Wii64 Nintendo 64 Emulator | Homebrew Browser V 0.3.6 | IOSCheck V 0.3.6

Thanks for your quick reply. To be honest I dont know what VC is (sham shame shame)

if I remove all the save files I have only 70 blocks free.....

How can I remove Interbet and the voting channels and all other stuff that is useless?

    Go to

Wii options (bottom left of main screen ((wii logo in a little circle))

    Data Management

    Channels

Click on the channel you want to remove and select ERASE

Incidentally the Internet channel uses 218 blocks on my system

i had this problem yesterday on a friends wii, the wii had a channel that was basically a video telling you about what the wii can do on the internet, wasn't internet channel as such, anyway it took up 1600 odd block so maybe you have that on that you can delete as it is useless!
