hey everyone, i'm wondering how to burn or install the new monkey island 4 game (it's a wad file - wiiware) onto my wii. it's a hard mod and i think it's version 4.1. i was also told not to downgrade because i could brick my wii, is this true also? thanks for your help!

First of all, you'll need to have a softmodded wii to install wads. So first softmod your console by using this tutorial:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

After the softmod, drop the wad file into the wad folder that should be on the root of your sd card. You'll notice it in you need to install .wads during the softmod process.

Load up wad manager and use the default settings (IOS249 and SD Card).
Navigate into the wad folder, highlight the monkey island 4.wad and press A. Make sure the action is set to install and go ahead and install. Press Home and reboot. It should be on your system menu.

Also remember that bad wads can give you a bannerbrick, so make a sure to have Priiloader or bootmii as boot2 installed.
