Well, in my 1st question i was asking is it safe to install ios70 on a 4.1 wii because i know IOS70 is used to launch games off of the SD card but on a 4.2Wii and i have 4.1. So if the answer is no its not safe then this will fall in "things you should never do" because i dont want to brick my wii and if my 1st question is still off topic maybe someone can link me to the right place

and for question number 2 im asking is it safe to uninstall news/Photo/forecast channel I....think you awnsered it nightstah but you answered my question with a question so im not sure if that was a "yes its safe" or "no its not safe "

Your right i can play VC games off of my SD card but its worthless because it just leaves a temporary fail on my wii that is just as big in fail size so im saving no space but for some reason im not able to play wiiware games off my SD card only VC games

Well since "you know" what you're talking about... (you don't). I refer to the text above that has been emboldened/italicized. System Menu 4.1 requires IOS 60 to function/run; System Menu 4.2 requires IOS 70 to function/run. Beyond this, I fail to see what you're asking; installing IOS 70 on a 4.1 Wii is not the solution to whatever problem you're having at all/period/paragraph.

In Mauifrog's list of what not to do one is "Never rush Most bricks happen from careless actions. Slow down, read the forums, and be sure to ask questions."

This is what im doing, im just asking questions so dont beat me down for it. you say things and expect me to understand every-thing your saying or referring to. sorry for not carrying around the knowledge you do

    Red face Thanks

Thanks there was a lot I didnt know and one or two I was thinking of doing. But now I know never to do them. I have another one to add "Never when installing games as wads when removing them never just delete the channel its self uninstall it using wad manager and the wad file" A result of just deleting the channel can result in your wiii saying you have not enought memory and you have to delete some stuff. No matter how much you delete the wii will still say you have to delete stuff. So uninstall wads that come up on the system menu never just delete them because the data is still there and sooner or later you will encounter the error. The only way I found to get past this was a format. I this could be even more dangerous depending on what version you are on. So be carful.
