    Here is the thing:
Mauifrog has put together a list of general nonos. You can ask about certain things that have to do with this or other things that your mind may dream up.
But this is not a testing-ground for pirated wads.

If you uninstall an IOS lower than 200 it's a definite brick, right ? Except if IOS is a stub .
Then why even do we have a (-) uninstall option for them in Dop-Mii ?
I think there should be 2 versions of Dop-Mii , one is BASIC, included in softmod guides ( where it's hardcoded you can't uninstall IOS lower than 200 ) and one ADVANCED , which has all options

If you would like to invent one, feel free to do so.

I don't wanna put words in his mouth but I think mauifrog asked the devs about creating a separate less-complex version of DOP-Mii with limited privileges. Their response was something along the lines of there being enough warnings/confirmations in the already existing version coupled with being a ton of work and not highly needed enough to do it.

Again, I think it was maui but this was a few months back so my memory's a little hazy. A search on their Google Source site will bring up the conversation if they haven't deleted it.

I'm actually surprised we haven't seen more brick issues due to the newbie ineptitude, working with this app. I thought for sure when I first saw shadowsonic's guide, we were gonna see 10 bricks a day.

I'm surprised so many people think DOP-mii is a brick waiting to happen.. lol I would use DOP-mii over a firmware updater or any-title deleter any day. If you actually read the screen it gives you all the info and warnings you need. (this is where people fail I think, not reading)

I think it goes a long way to show how effective the warnings they built in to the app have gone. Odd you remember that crazy stuff I did when it first came out? I thought it was a brick train pulling into the station for sure lol.

I would never use a firmware updater and I only used any title deleter once, I almost had to get drunk to do it as my nerves were screwed lol.

You boot2 guys can take the chances, I can't. That was a very good way to gain experience.

Yeah I'm not too big on the Firmware updaters myself. I would rather do things manually. Plus I think it helps the learning curve, even if only a little. ATD is fine just spouts a bunch of errors left and right to freak you out lol. But I do find myself always being a little more cautious in that app, always afraid I'm going to delete the wrong thing.

DOP-Mii's tops in my book for system apps though. I mess with that app more than I play games on my Wii that's for sure.

I love dop-mii, it is an excellent app. And I did post about noob/advanved mode
    here-
Issue 8 - dop-mii - Noob mode, Advanced mode - Project Hosting on Google Code
I hope v13 will prevent stub system ios install when running that sm.
    I also posted this-
Issue 25 - dop-mii - Korean Key Probe? - Project Hosting on Google Code
but have not had a response
Dop-mii is excellent, and had many update in a very short time. I am not sure how active the dev. is atm.

I just wish it could dip patch any ios you wished to any slot you wished, etc, etc, the perfect fair use (pirate) tool.
