    I have a WD Elements 500GB External HDD how can I use it?

    I'd like to skip the whole burning dvd-r's and use the HDD solution but I can't find an exact answer on how to go about it!! I am a fresh newbie but have been reading a ton. Then I stumbled upon the HDD option and it sounds golden! Is there a problem with HDD over DVD-R's? And exactly what do I need to do to go about it.. THANKS!!

    You're Hard Drive seems perfectly capable with USB Loaders but before you can use your HDD to load games. You'll need to format to WBFS using WBFS Manager and install some games. Use this tutorial to learn how:

    As for problems over DVD. I don't believe there are any. In fact USB HDD has advantages over DVD-R:
    - DVD Backups load at 3x, half the speed of originals while USB Loaders go at full speed.

    - Space is utilized better since WBFS Manager strips off the junk from the iso before installing it your hard drive.
