    Maxtor Basics only for wii?

Hello. I am very new to this and I try to get the most information as possible before I get to mod my Wii 4.2 E. Anyway, I am a bit confused with the USB external disk that I must use in order to load games.

    The thing goes like this:

    1. I already have a maxtor basics 160 Gb that could do it (I guess) but on the other hand I did not see it in the compatibility list that you have posted. If you know it by experience (if it works or not), please say it.

    2. Futhermore, I've read the tutorial about the partition of the disk. But since this disk is big (160 GB), can I keep it to store my computer files or if I use it for wii, it can not have another use? That's all, and thank you for your help.

If it isn't on the compatibility list, you'll have to try it and find out. You can partition the drive So that you can use the second partition for whatever you want. The primary one is Wbfs for wii image files only.
