    Homebrew glitched?

I had v3.4 on my wii. I followed the steps in 3.1 - 4.1 softmod guide. Unknowingly I installed preloader prior to upgrading to 4.1. Preloader loaded and I could get into the preloader menu, however it didn't work ("Couldn't find any hacks for system menu version v385") I found another thread here were someone had the same problem and was told to reinstall it. So i installed 4.1 upgrader. now I have v4.1 however I got two other problems: I can not boot into preloader like i use to could,... and the biggest problem is when I sign into the Homebrew channel I get a black screen and I have to power off the wii to reboot. Any help please....

Unknowingly? Did it install by itself then?

Preloader was removed when you updated to 4.1.

As for your black screen when starting HBC, well I'd try re-installing it.

Unknowingly means I thought it said I could skip that part...but now I know. And I have tried to reinstall HB but when I do I get this:
    This installer can not continue.
There is known vulnerable IOS installed on this wii.
Please note that we willnot use a fakesigned IOS due to security reasions.
Look for updated verison at HTTP..//bootme.org

Use dop-ios to re-install IOS36, non doped and try the hackmii installer again.

You can launch dop-ios using bannerbomb or whichever hack you like to use.
