    priiloader & Bootmi issue

Ok so I followed the guide to softmod 4.2e and everything went well but for some reason in priiloader I didn't have any of the settings to adjust region ect just a white screen - anyway I set to boot from system memory and saved setting but nothing happen

I pressed the B button and then the wii restarted and went to the normal boot screen - I thought cool it's working - the problem is sometimes when I turn it off it boot back to priiloader screen - any idea's.....

Ok 2nd issue figured I could live with the first

I put the mplayer ce .75 in my apps folder and launched from homebrew, next I put in a Divx and tried to play it but it just froze.

I thought maybe dvdx didn't install correctly so I went to Bootmi in the homebrew channell and the screen goes black and dvd drive flashes

agghh not sure what went wrong because I followed the guide and everything went smoothly

please help - the kids will kill me (well there mum will)

Only sometimes or everytime when you turn it off? If this is the case then this is just a setting in Priiloader been changed. If you get a black screen when booting to Bootmii (presumably as an IOS) it means there are files missing that Bootmii needs to run (from my understanding of how Bootmii works anyway). Is there anything else wrong that happens or...? Keep us posted.

If you can still boot to the HBC through Priiloader, I'd try that. Using the Hackmii Installer reinstall HBC/DVDx and Bootmii as an IOS. Also, sometimes with MPlayer CE it can run a little slow when trying to read from a DVD (usually because it's not a DVD-R). Hope that works for you : ) If not, lemme know and I'll get back to you when I wake up in the morning : ) Just don't panic and do anything without thinking. : )

I had the same problem with my 4.2e at the start. After some googling I found that my hacks.ini file were the wrong version. After I had the right version on the SD card it worked. But still somtimes when i boot my Wii (black edition) i end up at the priiloader menu.

I have bootmii intalled as an IOS.

    Any suggestions?

Make sure you set the Autoboot to System Menu in the Priiloader Settings.

Also what version of Priiloader are you using?
Priiloader v0.2 breaks the autoboot feature.

I found a solution for my problem in this thread:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/general-home...ed-my-wii.html

I uninstalled priiloader and downloaded the file mentioned in the thread above and folowed the instrucktions. As far as i can see it works now.
