    Talking USB loader help

I am new to this, just softmodded my wii following this: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-...d-any-wii.html

As of now, the drive may not be able to read DVD-R's as I am getting the DVD Read Error 1053 in Neogamma, but I still to test media. Anyway, worse case scenario, which USB loader do I use & what is best method for installing. Thanks in Advance.

Same thing happened to my friend. He was using cheap 'Dynex' discs. He switched to Verbatim and burnt at 4x and it now works. You may have the newer version of Wii that can't read DVDRs. Sorry I don't know much about USB loaders.

For now just install the usb loader gx from the guide. I did this for a friend and they absolutely love it. It is easy to install and easy to use. Later down the road if you want to try other loaders go ahead, but this one worked well for my modding.

A couple questions regarding the USB loader, 1.) on my list of channels I have 2 USB loaders, how can I remove one of them safely? 2.) I already have an External HDD that I have for some info, it is 750 GB & is NTFS. Can i use this without formating or would I be better off to purchase a new drive just for my WII Backups?

What game is it that is causing this error? I've received it before also, looked up the game and found it was a "problematic game" to run.

As far as the channel go, I am assuming you installed the channel and the forwarder which is just like a short cut to the homebrew app. The best way to do it i think, is to put those wads back on the sd card in the wad folder, open wad manager and use it to uninstall the one you want.
Unfortunately, NTFS isn't gonna get it for playing wii backups. You need a WBFS partition to be primary on the hdd to do it.

If it's the chip there's no workaround for it right now, you'd have to load from usb.
