    Just Curious...

No big deal but if you remove the HB channel, will the major components you installed in the bootmii hack get removed as well (IE wad installations, cIOS installations, and the bootmii hack)?

If they were installed I figured they would stay on there without the presence of the HB channel since they were all mounted from the SD chip.

    Just interested,

    Thanks!

You kinda need homebrew channel to access things like wad manager.

No you would need to uninstall each custom file which was installed to the NAND. There's a guide on bringing the wii back to a virgin state in the guides section if you're interested in learning more.

    Okay thanks!

I need to remove the HB channel at times b/c of curios little sisters and I don't want them to mess with it.

I usually just do the mod firmware all over again but now I know I can just reinstall the HB and I'll be good to go!

As long as there is no sd card in there, homebrew channel will be blank anyway.

I would advise against removing the HBC. If you have an issue with your Wii the HBC makes things much easier to fix.

Why not drag the HBC to the third window using A and B and dragging it? And remove the SD card as Oddgriffin recommends. Or even have a kids SD card and a Admin SD card with different apps.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
