What's the Point of IOS36 Patched????

I'm a newb, and I did several different version of soft mod installs, and am always told to patch to:

    1-Upgrade to 4.1u (which I did)

    2-Update to IOS60 Patched and IOS36Patched

3-If your homebrew channel turns upside down (which happened) then reinstall homebrew channel after the guide

(which I did, then restarted and it switched to new IOS36Patched then turned back upside down).

I notice that before the IOS36 Patched installation, Homebrew channel used IOS60 which was rightside up, then after installing the IOS 36 Patched it started using that IOS and then turned upside down, now what?

WHAT THE USE OF IOS36 PATCHED IF IT'S JUST GOING TO TURN CHANNELS UPSIDE DOWN?

Don't have a clue what you are talking about, but reinstalling homebrew channel is no huge cumbersome task. Most folks get a little freaked out about it at first, but they soon get on with their lives and being able to play backups.

I have read that if you patch the one ios before the other, HBC is upside down.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

It's a common occurance in HBC, the hackmii team doesn't condone piracy. So once a trucha enables IOS is installed the HBC does a "flip", kinda like a middle finger to pirates. Alls that needs to be done is run the HBC installer again and re-install it. You do not need to patch the IOS again.

If you patch the ios HBC uses, it flips upside down. Reinstalling will cause HBC to use another unpatched vulnerable ios. If all of your vulnerable ios files are patched, hackmii installer will not run giving you the "no vulnerable ios error".

We patch ios36 so we can run many apps that require trucha bug, like installing cios

We patch ios60 and ios70 the allow us to play wiiware installed from wadmanager from the sd-card, and preloader.
    Ipsa scientia potestas est.

Warning: Piracy is NOT supported. Word your questions carefully.
