    bootmii question

I used the messie's guide to mod with 4.2 system menu on my friends Wii. Everything works fine now,but when we first modded it I installed BootMii as Boot2 but didn't have a Gamecube controller to do a NAND backup.

He now has a Gamecube controller so my question is how do I get into BootMii to do the backup?
I don't see an option to even get into BootMii anywhere??

    Another question,
Does BootMii also have an option to skip disk update and region free? If it doesn't would there be any problem installing Priiloader also??

    Thankyou.

First off as long as it is installed as boot2 you do not need a gamecube controller, the face buttons of the console work. Secondly you need the bootmii folder on the root of your SD. Download here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=R5HVW11N Once that is on your root and you start up the Wii, BootMii will automatically load up.

And no bootmii is just a restore method, you would need pre/priiloader to enable the "skip disc update".

    Thankyou,
Do I need to keep the BootMii on the memory card when I'm done with the backup? And if I do will it boot to it everytime?

No after you are done you will want to remove the bootmii folder as well as they keys.bin and nand.bin files and put them in a safe place.
