    Question about scrubbed games

Hello guys i got too questions, here goes:

    1. When games are scrubbed using WBFS manger to add games to HD, is any 'quality' of the game lost at all?

    2. Is there a wii USB loader that doesn't scrub games but can be loaded as a channel (without having to put the SD card in).

    Thanks

    To answer your questions.

    1. No quality lost. Just removes the "non sense" data.

    2. Its good to scrub games to use with a usb loader or else every game would be 4.37GB. You wouldnt fit near as much on an sd card of HDD. I am not sure if or how you can run games as channels but why would you want to? They would use up alot of memory.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

No quality is lost, just the junk filer data is ignored. In wbfs manager there is an option to include the update partition.

How can i choose to disable scrubbing in WBFS manager then? I have a 450GB HD so space isn't a problem . I heard there is some graphics lost in gamecube games like paper mario. Just to ensure the best quality, i just don't want games to be scrubbed

@jasons34, I ment a wii USB loader as a channel (like USB loader GX can be installed as a channel to load HD).

    Thanks guys once again

First of all you can't play GC games off your USB HDD, secondly there IS NO data loss from the game by scrubbing it. Only the update partition is removed.

Oh i see :/. Some people have posted that playing the scrubbed game has poor quality compared to the retail disc... Is there no way to disable scrubbing?

In WBFS Manager, Edit, Options, Advanced then partitions to keep, change to all. But your doing something stupid if you ask me.

You sure do, if there is an unscrubbed image that means the update partition is present. On play the update partition will check your Wii and if it is not up to date, will install the appropriate updates. That could lead into worse case, bricked Wii, best case, you have to remod the system.
