How to safely delete a duplicate channel

In attempting to install the USB Loader GX, somehow, I managed to created two channels for the USB Loader GX.

The loader appears to be working just fine.

Question: How can I safely remove one of those channels as I don't need both?

    Thank you

Using AnyTitleDeleter Mod navigate to Installed Channels and delete. Be careful using this program and make sure not to uninstall any ios below 200.

You can do it 1 of 2 ways. The 1st way is to use wad manager to uninstall the channel you want removed. Instead of pressing the (+) to install the wad file, youll instead press the (-) to uninstall the wad. The other way you can remove it is by going into wii managegment going to channels and removing it that way.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

I just wanted to delete the duplicate channel, not un install it.

In digging deeper, I was able to go into the wii menu - selecting 'channels', then clicked on the channel itself. I got an option to erease it, which took care of it.

    Thanks for the feedback !!

I read here more than once that using the Wad Manager to remove the channels is more effective, so if you still have the wad on your SD card then remove the channel with the Wad Manager by highlighting the title of the wad and then pressing the (-) button. If you use AnyTitleDeleter then it may leave little bits of the channel on your Wii internal memory. I wouldn't worry about it though, it probably will not hurt anything, I use the AnyTitleDeleter because I can never find the wad that I used to install the channel.

That's funny I read the opposite, that AnyTitleDeleter was the program to use so there were no traces left. It probably doesn't even matter, I'd imagine uninstalling via wad manager has near if not the exact same results, but I am a little curious.

I'm sorry about my spelling, I meant not to worry about it. But unless the wad manager mod is any different then waninkoko's wad manager then I have seen here on more than one post that AnyTitleDeleter does leave a little behind, probably not noticeable. I can't confirm it, I just remember reading it, and pass that along. Now I am curious too.

Oh yeah by all means I'm glad you shared that info. Never hurts to learn something new.

    thanks for all the feedback...

I think in my case, it was just the 'icon' on the main screen that I wanted to get rid of but wanted to keep everything.

Not sure what happened but when I installed the USB Loader Gx, I ran the USB loader.WAD file, then I also launched the USB loader forwarder.wad as well...which I believe is what caused the USB Loader GX channel to show up twice. Since the removal of the 2nd icon(channel), all coninues to be well. I'll certainly keep in mind of the apps mentioned here if I need to completely remove a channel in the future...which I might be doing so very shortly. I have neoGamma7, I'd like to remove that and install neogamma8

    Cheers !!!
