External harddrive

I am looking to buy a external hard drive so i can put backup games on the drive and play them on the wii with the harddrive

I was looking to buy a ACOMDATA 500GB EXTERNAL HARD

Would like to know if any1 knows this would work for what i would like to use it for be4 i go out and spend my $$$

spend a little more $$$ but everything works great...

so does the hard drive have to have only wii games on it or can i use my WD hard drive or can it have movies, music and games on it

read the "Playing Games From USB" link in my sig.. There is a way to do that but you have to be familiar with partitioning and disk managment, and if you are not then i would not do that. (share a drive with movies and stuff)

Tesco in the UK are selling WD external 1TB Hard Drive for £65, I partioned it into 2 sections half for Wii and half for pc.

And today for the first time I played a game of the hard drive, and it is all thanks to guides tuts and helping prodes from fellow members.
