Rabbid Go Home [PAL] stuck at black screen, stomped???

I tried for 3 days researching and reading the forums to solve this problem for Rabbid Go Home and Just Dance.

So The Problem: After the safety warning and the company’s logos finishes loading the game just enters a black screen and stays on there.

I am on system 3.4e, cIOSrev10, tried loading the games via ULGX v1.0 rev866

I tried using various Video Modes such as Auto patch and VIDTV: on
I tried using Wiiscrubber to look for an alt dol to extract but there were none as the ISO has only one partition.
I tried SignCheck to see if I was missing any IOS but it seems I have them all except IOS 56, 60 and 61. I also read that Rabbid Go Home needs IOS 33 which I do have.

Can someone help me please as I tried everything within my capabilities?

You might want to update your cIOS to rev 14, which is the latest official release.

    Here --> cIOS38_rev14-Installer.rar
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Updated my system menu to 4.1e.
Installed cIOS38rev13 as rev14 cannot find my WBFS partition.
    Installed IOS 38, 50, 53 and 55.
Tried ULGX, CFG and SD/USB Loader 1.5.

Rabbid Go Home [PAL] – still stuck on black screen after the picture of rabbid holding nunchuck

Just Dance [PAL] – stuck on black screen after Ubisoft logo.

Tales of Symphonia 2 [PAL] – freezes at a certain point of the game. (might be a bad ISO as its always the same place?)

Any help please because I am stomped.

I might not be able to help you, but im having the same problem:
Rabbids Go Home Pal stops at the nunchuk screen, and Tales of Symphonia 2 stops at or after the namco Logo :-(
In addition Monster Lab PAL is hanging at a black screen when I am told to control the first monster...

My Wii was 3.4 also, i've upgraded to 4.1 recently.

What is strange: The backup DVD of tales runs in neogammas backup laucher gamma 3, but not with any usb loader.

I played around with various settings of usb loader gx, and found some behaviour:
When using System Default Video Mode, I never see the WiiMote Strap Screen. It hangs directly after starting.
I see the wii mote strap screen always if the Autopatch Video Mode is used no matter if ios 222 of 249 is used or 002 fix is ANTI or ON, or VIDTV Patch is ON or OFF.
I only see the nunchuk screen if using Autopatch, ios222, 002 fix yes and VIDTV Patch is ON. (Ive been told that with a pal wii and a pal game the vidtv patch doesnt matter)
When I use Pal 50, 002fix yes, ios 222 the VIDTV Patch setting doesnt matter to get to the nunchuk screen too.

I get to the nunchuk screen with wiiflow 1.1 with the following settings:
    Video Mode: Auto Patch
    002fix: ON
    Vipatch: OFF
    IOS: 222
    Patch Video Modes: Normal

Then I cycled through the patch video modes, with "all" and "none" it worked also.
But with "more", I got stuck at the WiiMote Screen.

With the CFG USB loader I had to select Pal 50 to see even the WiiMoteScreen. But it only goes this far with ios222 (mload). 223 is not installed and 249 is stopping at the wiimote screen.
So I played again with Wiiflow and when I select Pal 50Hz there I get stuck at the nunchuk screen.
So I switched the VIPatch ON again, and still came to the nunchuck screen.

It looks like AutoPatch is a bad choice for me and some of my games.

So as a conclusion I can say:
If I use Pal 50, with ios 222, then VIPatch does not matter. But I still get not past that nunchuk screen :-(
There is also no change for Tales of Symphonia (here I get to the namco logo then (or at the black screen afterwards) it freezes) or Monster Lab :-/
    Any further Ideas?

PS: I also tried the uloader, but since I can not change the video mode, its not going very far...

    Heres my system:
    PAL Wii @ 4.1
Maxtor Onetouch HDD 2.5" 250gig with 1 WBFS Partition
    USB Loader GX Rev874
    WiiFlow 1.1
    CFG USB Loader 50c
    uLoader 3.3

Sign Check gives me the following information:
    using IOS 36 rev 3351
    Region Europe
    Hollywood Version 0x11

    Found 28 ios:
IOS number, "Trucha bug", "Flash access", "Boot2 access", "Usb2.0 IOS tree"

    Now I tried something different.
I took tales of symphonia 2, used the uloader and started the DVD (Backup) with it. And it worked.
So my guess is, there is something wrong with my wbfs file on the hard drive.
When I'm home next year I will try to put the file again on my HDD.

Did you ever try tales or rabbids on dvd in a backup launcher or in uLoader using DVD?

Which cIOS rev are you using?
As I am also starting to think it is either a cIOSrev13 or HDD problem.

I haven’t tried DVD-R method as I don’t have any. Which DVD-R brand or make did you use and where did you buy them from as I think I might try this myself.
