new Wii: 4.1U softmodded, all usb loaders fail...

Downloading them and putting them on with the Manager to a new 640GB WD drive.

The loaders (neo, GX, and wiiFlow) see the games: NSMBW and Mario Galaxy - they both load, prompt me to select a save, and then when it'd go into the main game, they tank. NSMBW freezes with the screen after I select 1 player, and Galaxy goes black, continuing to read the HDD, but nothing happens.

I updated IOS53 with Dop for nSBM but to no avail...

just ripped Wii Sports (the one that comes with a Wii) to the HDD via USB Loader GX and it hangs at the "Put on and tighten the wrist strap." stage.

i am pretty sure WD HDDs work - it's a My Book.....

    what's the deal? :-/

EDIT: I followed the 3.1-4.1 guide to the letter...

Well this may not be for every case scenario, but i have heard ppl having problems when they have more than 500 gig for a partition. My brother inlaw said he was having issues until he cut it down to size. So he just went to 400 gig to be safe, besides the fact that he wasn't planning on having to use more than that anyway. So it could be coincidence but after that his game freezing issues went away.

Yes and since we both know that harddrive is compatible. I would try trimming it down to under 500 gig, what could it hurt?
