Can't run Wii Sports Resort on 4.1

I have followed the guide here on these forums regarding soft-modding my Wii with version 4.1. Every game so far has worked with a burned DVD-R disc.

However, not with Sports Resort. When I try to run it through Neogamma, it just returns to the main menu without any message or error code.

As this is a new game, it might be that my Wii needs an update? I have turned off WiiConnect24 as recommended here on these forums.

So what is my suggested plan of action?

    Thanks for any help.

Search the site for the guide on sports resort.

Yes, I've done that and what I found was a thread consisting of 36 pages which did not give me a proper answer to my problem anyway.

The tutorial states that I need to change "002 fix" in Neogamma config, but I have no such option. I am running Neogamma R8 beta 7, IOS249 (Rev 14).

I've been trying to find answers here as to which IOS I might need to install to get this option, but it has not been successful.

    Anyone wish to clarify?

Also: I do not have a motion plus, but surely that should still allow me to run the game into at least the main menu?

    NEVERMIND.
I got it to work. I simply ignored the "002 fix" setting and changed only the alt. dol and it worked.

I believe neogamma r6 is the only one that has the 002 fix option that may be turned off and on. All other versions that I have used since then do not have it available in the options menu. You will only need the alt.dol method the first time after that as long as you have the motion plus you should be able to play normally.
