    Help please with a 2.1e wii

    Hello,think i have had a blonde moment as i cant find a guide for softmodding a 2.1e wii.I have already done "successfully" my kids 4.2e and thought i would treat myself and buy one second hand as it's chrimbo.Any help guys? should i update it and do it same way i did the 4.2e?

    I would stay away from 4.2 altogether when trying to get a new system. Best place to go and stay right now is 4.1.

    Thankyou i will do that then,just curious though.whats differnet between the 2? and also is the neogamma different as i know how to do the r7 only


    EDIT: ok i used the internet to update and it went straight to a 4.2e!

    you are gonna need to update from a disk, NOT OFFICIAL NINTENDO UPDATE, to get to a point where you can softmod.

    well too late now. a good option would be NSMB disc update. But since you upped it to 4.2 follow messie's guide in the guide section.

    ohh i may of read wrong but he said he couldnt find a 2.1E guide, then the next sentence he says that he just finished his sons 4.2e softmod

    thankyou all for your quick response's,yes i used the internet to update and it went to 4.2e and done exactly what i did first time and it worked all back up's work even a couple that didnt in neo r7 now work in neo r8.Now im ready to kick my 7 yr old's butt on mario online haha
