Testing games before buying. How to do that?

I'm not looking for pirating games and leaving the developers without earnings. All of my games are originals (PS3, 360, PSP and WII).
However, I spent a lot of money on games I didnt like and most of them currently just laying in my drawer.
What I want is an ability to test a game before I buy. I want to download an image, burn/save on SD/save on USB HDD and than play for some time on the WII. If I like it - I will buy it.
Is there any way of doing it on WII without:
    1. risking with Nintendo updates (I want my system to be fully updated automaticly).
    2. Not bricking it
    3. I dont need ANY other functionality besides testing games
    4. Keeping the warranty active
    5. I dont want to have ANY limitations as a result of enabling this thing

I have the Twilight prices game and also Lego Indiana Jhones. As far as I understand they can be used.
Please let me know if it's possible to do what I need

there is no way to as of now... unlike the Xbox360 where there were demos that you could play... wii does not have that...

the best way to try games from ISO's is softmodding your wii. But you will not be able to have full update automatically, as they will kill the softmods... so its either all or nothing.. also i know that gamestop (idk where you live but they are all over) usally switches out there displays everymonth or so to the newer games so you can try them there...

    Thanks for the fast reply.
Let's say I softmod my Wii and leave the autoupdates on. Is there a chance to brick the WII, or the worst thing that will hapen is that I will loose the "pirated" abilities?

Ok, what is the easiest softmod to do for my needs? Again, I want MINIMAL firmware changes or permanent installations. All I need is to play images from HDD/SD/DiskOnKey or DVD burns to test them. I'm on the latest firmware BTW (4.2U)
