Us disc read error?! wtf! what next?!

I have playing a soft modded wii for bout a year now ver 3.4u. last game i got was mario galaxy everything worked smooth on backup launcher 0.3g. i recently got some new games burnded imgfiles w/ imgburn, tried to play em and nothing. researched all day and ended up getting neogamma r8 beta 15 updating my wad manager to to ver. 1.4, got a 3 pack of ios38-64-v3609, ios38-64-v3610, and ios53-64-v4113 (supposed to fix error 002 problem) didnt work. now im getting disc read error 1000 sumthing or 1100 sumthing with new and old burns.

is there ne1 out there that can see from what ive said where ive gone wrong?
and if so please direct me in the right direction before i try to fix my wii with a claw hammer

Not to sure. First ios38-64-v3609, and ios38-64-v3610 are the same ios, you can not have both so which ever you installed last is what you have. If I were you I would run my wii through the 3.1-4.1 guide linked below doing steps 1-5. I suspect that your issue will resolve itself once you have. Also, loss the disks and start loading from usb, much much better.

i had a similar issue with a hardmodded wii, i suspected the drive or laser, i had a reply to change my burn speed i went from 1X to max and now games are working better for fresh burns, but i still think my laser is deteriating
