i just did this like an hour ago with my hdd (not the same brand as yours though) in on win7, use the disk managment in admin tools in win. format it to exFAT32 it will be fine.... then use WBFS 3 to format it to WBFS and it should work as it did with mine.

Ok so what's the verdict here folks? exFAT is the same as FAT32 then? If so that would cure a lot of problems with emulators and what not.

Just so you know, the newest revision of USBLoader GX can run iso's from an NTFS partitioned Hard Drive I believe. I couldn't format my external through WBFS Manager, but when I tried with Configurable USBLoader v.48, it formatted without any troubles and works perfect now. Both of those options are worth a shot : )
    4.1E - Priiloader 0.3b - bootmii as IOS - cIOS 38 r15 - Triiforce MRC v.7 - MPlayer CE v.0.76 - Configurable USB Loader v.48 - WiiFlow v1.1 - SanDisk 2GB SD - 320GB Vertabim HDD
Please remember to hit if I've been of any assistance to you.
