    What is on my wii

    Hi all,
I'm new to wii hacking, so please be gentle.

I have just got a pre-hacked wii from Thailand. After a bad experience with my old wii, I thought the first thin I should do is get a NAND backup of this one.
I tried the hackmii installer and get the no vulnerable IOS message. I've read this could be because a hack pack has been installed.

The thing is, I've got no idea what kind of hack is on the wii, so I want to be REALLY careful about what I do to it.

Anyone have any suggestions of how to go about identifying what is on it so that I can get my wii backed up.

It is running 4.1U and hass homebrew 1.01 USB Loader GX uLoader and a few other channels on it, if that helps.

    Thanks
    J

    It has cIOSCORP installed.

How to fix "no vulnerable ios" error when installing HBC

    Thanks,
That guide mentions 4.2 a lot, is this all still good for 4.1?

    Hi,
I've been through the guide, here are my results.

    Step A:
    Error 1035

    Step B:
    Fail on ios36
As suggested, tried ios250 - SUCCESS

    Step 3:
As suggested, tried Step A: again using ios249, Error 1035
    did ios249 IOS34-64-v3087.wad,
Tried the homebrew installer, all worked fine. (can't do boot2 but didn't expect to be able to)

I've done a bootmii backup anyway, but as far as I know it is of no use.

Next step is to buy a hard drive and get usb loader gx running.

    Thanks for all the help
