Is there a way to get the USB loader to appear on the wii main menu?

I have to have the sd card in and run it from the homebrew menu. It would be nice if I could leave the SD card out of the unit.

Like have a channel?? Just download a .wad file of example: Neogamma R8
Then install the WAD file in Wad Manager and you'll have a channel on your Wii system menu. Then you don't need the SD card in to load from the HBC.

No. A forwarder would require the SD card to still be in the slot.

As pointed out above, you need to install the full channel .wad in order to be sd card free. Although, the covers are still stored on the SD card unless you have a fat32 partition on your hdd.

You are better off leaving the SD card in the Wii, the USB Loaders are updated quite often and you will not always be able to find an updated channel for your USB Loader. If you put a forwarder on your Wii menu, and have the loader on your SD, then you can update the loader when you need to without having to delete the channel and add another when ever there is an update.
