Is menu patcher a update preventer?

I need answers before I go in shooting! Will Menu Patcher prevent me from ever updating safely? A forum said not to update after installation...?

if you mean Menu Patcher - WiiBrew then No, and dont go messing with that unless you really know what your doing, or your going to be turning your wii into a big white plastic paper-weight.

Preloader/priiloader/any loader will block updates.
