    Black screen after turned off

    Hello,

Just softmodded my Wii to 4.1. Everything's working. I've got bootmii and priiloader, etc.

Strange thing is that when I turn it off it still broadcasts a black screen. The power light indicates yellow. Unplugging and plugging it back in or just turning it back on will get rid of the black screen.

    Any ideas?

i also heard it is kinda like a standby mode. still sending out a signal but the internal fans dont turn on. i try and avoid it by completely powering it down.

By broadcast I just mean the T.V. is still black.

it has to do with wii connect 24... i have mine turned off... so when i shut down the wii it completly turns off (red light on front of wii)

oddgriffin is correct about the standby, normal users would leave this on beause when it is in standby the usb ports stay active with power and you can use that to charge your wiimote's with the wii acc for charging wiimote's....
