well, i bricked the heck out of my wii, and i wanna just start over using a supposedly official nintendo wii backup disc. from what i gather, i need to hold all the d-pad buttons on my gamecube controller (after taking it apart) to make the wii boot from dvd. i have the backup disc burned, and ready, as well as the controller. if someone could point me to a reliable guide on what to do next, or point out if i did anything wrong, it would be totally awesome.
Try to use the "Search" function on the forums. This question has probably been answered. If your still struggling then come back to this thread and post that you've looked and you still need help.
totally facepalmed right after posting this and did just that. still didnt work for me, just goes straight to priiloader...
there is a whole section for bricked wiis also. maybe look in there and see if anyone else had success.
Well you probably need to reinstall your system menu using Wad Manager. (I think)
Are you sure its bricked? Have you altered the settings in Priiloader to return to System Menu on exit.I ask this because you say it keeps returning to Priiloader on boot.
