Thumbs down BOOTMII wont install Failed (-1)

i found help for this but it was for 4.2 I have 4.0u
when I turned on my wii (i hadn't for a while) I went to the Homebrew channel it said there was a new update. so I updated the homebrew channel and DVDx but when I tried to install bootmii I got an error so I uninstalled bootmii as boot2 an as an iso. when I tried to reinstall it I got a "failed -1" error.

is there a way to make it work again or should I wait for the next update also I currently have cISO36_rev7 if that helps.

also I tried to install priiloader. when I get to the warning screen I accept but then it just goes black

    thanks ahead of time

wow kinda thought that update was for the homebrew channel, not the other things you decided to mess with and why would you uninstall it? gonna have to do the bannerbomb hackmi installer at the begining of the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide in the guides section.

Edit: I've come to the realization it takes me too long to post. Rock on Oddgriffin.

No you don't but go back through the 3.1-4.1 guide like oddgriffin suggested. That guide will also get that cIOS installed for you.

no you probably are a careful thinker and wanna make sure your info is correct, nothing wrong with that. besides this stuff always works better when it's a team effort.
