It's actually really annoying to see the preloader screen every time I boot up my Wii. Has anyone found out a way to skip the priiloader boot screen every time? Changing the setting to boot to System Menu isn't working. We can't be the only people running into this bug. Doggegs put priiloader into his latest tut so I'm sure that a lot of people will be running into this bug. I'm running v0.2 on a 4.1U.

Make sure you installed the IOS used by your current system menu versions: IOS70patched for 4.2 and IOS60patched for sysmenu 4.1. Now download and reinstall your system menu version-it may be have been compromised at some point. The reinstall of the system menu will overwrite preloader so after you install your system menu, reinstall preloader and now try the preloader menu setting Autoboot:System Menu again.

You would use something like NUSD to download the wad of your current system menu, then use wad manager to install it.

    NUS Downloader - WiiBrew

There is something about the priiloader that compromises the system menu of some Wiis, or some recognition issue. As you reported setting Autoboot to sysmeny I did not suggest that. Rather, it is a new issue we are seeing with priiloader 0.1 and still with 0.2.

It generally is solved by what I said earlier. Make sure the patched IOS that is used by the system menu is installed, then install a wad file of the system menu-you are not enabling a Nintendo system update, only reinstalling your system menu version. Then reinstall priiloader. That one cycle usually fixes the various problems reported-cycling of sysmenu vs priiloader menu, failure to locate or boot to sysmenu from priiloader, etc. Now, try to set the priiloader menu and see if that works; it usually does.
