    Should I worry?

I had clicked on the wrong channel on my WII so rather than going out and then back into another channel I simply hit the "+" on my wii remote to move to the next channel.

I had to do it a couple of times and just as I got to the channel I wanted to see I got a black screen and a "System files are corrupt" message. I turned the WII off and on again and everything seems fine. I couldn't replicate the error by doing the same actions (?) Just wondering if I should worry about it or not. Is there anything I should check?

(running a 4.2e WII and have followed Messies guide for 4.2 softmod)

could be nothing but if i were you i would pay close attention to the details when doing any further installations of channels. that way if you need our help it will be easier to assist you. also make sure yor wii memory isn't low, if you have alot of vc games and stuff installed it may be harder for your wii to function on low memory.

Doing that shouldn't cause that message - I flip through channels sometimes just for kicks and because I can't decide what to play. If you can't replicate the error message and everything's working the way you want right now, it's probably best not to start messing with things and there's not really anything to diagnose. Unless someone comes along who's experienced that same issue ... If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Thats exactly what I thought but thats what happened . I think I'll uninstall the VC games I have and clear up some memory, its a good suggestion, although I've only got 5 games, 3 SNES and 2 Master System.

I'll just keep an eye on things in future.

Only new additions are a Channel for MPlayer CE and BBCiPlayer.
